Meanwhile, Ayra Starr has solidified her presence with two nominations in the ‘Best Afrobeats’ category, distinguished for her solo masterpiece “Rush” and a striking collaboration with Wizkid on “2 Sugar.”

Yet, the resonance of the awards stretches far beyond Afrobeats. Internationally acclaimed icons Taylor Swift and SZA have surged ahead, boasting an astounding eight and six nominations respectively.
