Soul singer Waje has opened up on the reason she is yet to get married.
She gave her reason while answering an inquisitive fan who wanted to know why she is still single.
Replying the fan, the popular artist said: “Before I reach the tree wey dem dey pluck husband one guy just cut am down. So na famine we dey so.”

Waje first gained prominence after she was featured on P-Square’s Omoge Mi, and collaborated with them a second time on their track Do Me in 2008.
She is a single mother who has worked with youths in her community through the organization called ‘Waje’s Safe House’ where she partners with NGOs quarterly to help fight their cause.
Waje has two studio albums to her name: W.A.J.E. (2013), Red Velvet (2018).
