Like every other kid within his age range, Gao Zhiyu has started the new school year at Chengnan Elementary School in Jimo City, Shandong province of China.
11 year old Gao who comes from Jimo City, lost his legs in a car accident during summer vacation Four years ago. Gao utilized his long stay in the hospital to study and after his recovery, his father provided him with new “LEGS” made of wood. Two years after, Gao’s hard work and persistence has paid off and he is one of the top Students in his class.
