#RevolutionNow Protest: Security Operatives Lock Down National Stadium

The Nigeria Police, the Department of State Services, the Nigeria Military and other security operatives have surrounded the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos ahead of the #RevolutionNow protest scheduled for today.

Peter Afunaya, spokesperson for the DSS, on Sunday said Sowore called for a revolution by crossing the red line. He further stated that the police would not sit idly and watch any individual or group threaten the peace, unity and constitution of the country.

This is coming after a statement signed by Kunle Wizeman Ajayi made it clear that the protest march would still hold despite the arrest and detention of Omoyele Sowore.

Despite the presence of heavy security, some still trooped out to hold the protest.
