According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Adamawa State Police recently arrested four individuals suspected to be members of the notorious Boko Haram terrorist group. These suspects were allegedly planning an attack on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s residence. Among the apprehended individuals, one 29-year-old man confessed to being a Boko Haram member hailing from Damboa in Borno State.
The suspect was apprehended at the gate of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s residence while attempting to carry out the attack on Sunday around 9 p.m. The arrested individuals have now been handed over to the military authorities for further investigation and legal action.
