Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry and Convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), arrived in Port Harcourt yesterday, urging political leaders to become a blessing to the Nigerian people. Speaking to journalists at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Pastor Kumuyi emphasized the importance of hope and faith in God during challenging times.
As the host of the upcoming 6-day GCK event, scheduled from Thursday, June 23, to Tuesday, June 27, in Port Harcourt, Pastor Kumuyi explained why the crusade was being held in Rivers State. He stated that the purpose was to bless individuals, families, and everyone present and then carry the message of God’s love and supernatural power to the world.
The theme of the GCK event is “Supernatural Freedom through Christ.” It aims to address the bondage that hinders people’s progress and destroys their lives. Pastor Kumuyi stressed that the focus was on achieving freedom from the forces that hold individuals back and prevent them from realizing their full potential.
“Our purpose is to bring supernatural freedom, not just political or human freedom. We need freedom from the things that bind us, pull us back, and destroy our lives,” Pastor Kumuyi said. He emphasized the need for individuals to rediscover their true purpose and regain the freedom that enables them to fulfill their potential and be a blessing to others.
Acknowledging the challenges facing Nigeria, Pastor Kumuyi encouraged everyone to maintain hope in God. He emphasized that God is alive and capable of providing solutions to every challenge. He called on leaders to fulfill their appointed roles and work towards blessing the nation and promoting freedom in every aspect of society.
In a statement released by Pastor Andrew Osagie, the State Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, it was announced that Pastor William Kumuyi would minister to the needs of the people during the GCK crusade in Port Harcourt. The event will be held at the Church’s Campground on East West Road, Rumuodara, Port Harcourt.
In addition to the crusade, the six-day event will include a conference for ministers, church workers, and professionals at the Obi Wali Conference Center in Port Harcourt. Furthermore, an Impact Academy will be organized on Saturday, June 25, 2023, targeting secondary school students, university students, National Youth Service Corps members, and young professionals.
The GCK crusade is renowned for its miracles of salvation, healing, deliverance, and divine interventions in the lives of participants. Originally scheduled to take place in Port Novo, Republic of Benin, the event promises to be a time of powerful divine visitation.
As Pastor Kumuyi prepares to lead the GCK crusade, Nigerians eagerly anticipate a transformative experience filled with spiritual blessings, inspiration, and guidance.
