Nigerian Senator Orji Kalu has announced the passing of his first wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Kalu, who died at the age of 61.
The Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate took to his social media page to disclose the news, adding that his wife was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity.
Kalu, who is also a businessman and philanthropist, expressed his sadness and pain at the loss of his beloved wife.
He wrote, “With a heavy heart and pain, we announce the passing on to the eternal glory of Mrs. Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61. She was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity.”
He also revealed that a memorial service in her honor is scheduled to hold in the United States of America.
Kalu requested that people remember his wife and her loved ones in their prayers during this difficult period. He concluded by saying, “May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
