The news of Kambilichukwu’s death inundated social media last week. According to reports, Kambilichukwu developed a seizure while playing football with his friends at school. He was rushed to the Mother and Child hospital in Lagos, where he was confirmed dead.

In a video shared via his Instagram page on Monday, Linc described Kambilichukwu’s demise as “traumatizing.” He expressed the difficulty his family was going through, but stated that they would “emerge stronger from this.”

Linc also thanked all the well-wishers for their encouragement, adding that “evil has an expiry date.”

“The last couple of days have been completely traumatizing. I’m not going to lie,” he said.

“But you know, the Bible says in all things give thanks to God. It is difficult practicing this because it is not easy.

“But still, the Bible does not lie. It says in all things give thanks to God. I pray that by the grace of God, we’re going to emerge stronger from this.

“But I also know that evil has an expiry date. Thanks for all the encouraging words and all the prayers and everything. May God bless you all.”

According to Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos police spokesperson, an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of Kambilichukwu’s death.

Hundeyin stated that an autopsy would be necessary to know the actual cause of death. “There’s a need to carry out an autopsy to know what happened. We can’t say what happened until the autopsy is done,” the police spokesperson said.

Kambilichukwu’s death occurred about two months after Yul celebrated his 16th birthday. Following the tragic incident, Yul and his partner are now left with three children – Dani, Karl, and Victory.

The family and friends of the deceased are mourning the loss of the young boy and hoping to find closure soon.
