Nollywood Star Extends Warm Congratulations as Wedding Rumors Gain Ground
Popular Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has confirmed the engagement of Priscilla Ojo, daughter of fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, to well-known Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. The news has sparked excitement across social media, following earlier speculations of a possible wedding.
Priscilla had previously shared a romantic video on her social media, featuring herself and Juma Jux dressed in traditional Nigerian attire, hinting at what seemed to be a pre-wedding shoot. She captioned the video with the term “Ololufemi,” which means “my beloved” in Yoruba. The video was later reposted by Juma Jux on his Instagram, further fueling the rumors.
Mercy Aigbe, confirming the engagement in an Instagram post, congratulated her close friend and colleague, Iyabo Ojo. Aigbe, who reposted Priscilla’s video, expressed her joy and welcomed Juma Jux into the family.
“Yeah! My Baby is taken. Congratulations my love @its.priscy, our inlaw @juma_jux we welcome you with open arms and love, we no dey joke with our daughter oh. But we trust you,” Aigbe wrote. She went on to wish the couple continuous peace, joy, laughter, and blessings.
Iyabo Ojo, in response to Aigbe’s post, affectionately referred to her as the “friend of the bride” in Yoruba, showing her appreciation for Aigbe’s support.
