Insiders familiar with the situation told LatestNaija.news that Madonna has been grappling with persistent vomiting since her discharge from the hospital, a clear indication that the infection continues to affect her health significantly.
Reports have it that Madonna, currently confined to her bed in her New York City apartment, has been in recovery mode since Wednesday night when she was released from the hospital after spending several days in the ICU.
Madonna was initially taken to the hospital on Saturday after being stricken with a severe bacterial infection. Sources tell us that she was, metaphorically speaking, “resisting and rebelling” against the decision to hospitalise her.
It’s been revealed that Madonna’s assistant was with her when she collapsed last Saturday, which was when the uncontrollable vomiting first started.
As previously reported, Madonna was battling a fever for over a month prior to her hospitalisation, a condition she hid from everyone. It’s believed that she feared seeking medical attention might jeopardise her upcoming tour – a project she has been diligently preparing for and documenting via behind-the-scenes snapshots. The delay in seeking help has reportedly exacerbated her condition.
Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, has hinted that the upcoming tour, originally scheduled to begin on July 15, may face postponement. However, no final decision has been made by her manager or agent.
Despite the advice from those around her urging her to take a break and focus on her recovery, sources say Madonna remains determined to proceed with the tour as planned.
