Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar is sharing her recovery journey with fans on her Instagram stories. As reported by TalkGlitz, the actress had been bedridden following an altercation with Apostle Johnson Suleman in 2022, leading to speculation about her health. Debunking rumors of an autoimmune disease, Halima shared her medical report on social media.
In a new update, Halima posted videos of herself in a hospital bed thanking doctors and nurses for their care. She also shared a TikTok video of a lioness walking with the message, “I’ve battled my whole life to become the strong woman I am today. If you think that you can take me down after all that I’ve already been thru… Give it your best shot… you will not succeed”.
In another interview, Halima revealed details about her alleged affair with Apostle Johnson Suleman. She claimed that the clergyman first reached out to her to be his friend and sent her 500,000 Naira to show he was serious. Halima said she did not know he was married and even pleaded with him to reconcile with his wife. The actress also revealed that she had a tattoo of the clergyman’s name on her hand when their relationship was good.
Halima recently penned an appreciation post to Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko, for their support during her health challenges. The couple reportedly paid her hospital bills worth over 20 million Naira.
