A new movie is set to hit cinema screens today and it is the much anticipated Marvel movie; Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It is an American superhero film based on the previous Doctor Strange. It is a sequel to Doctor Strange, Avengers:Endgame , WandaVision and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The movie is the 28th film in the famous Marvel Cinematic Universe. An elegant cast that comprises Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Patrick Stewart, Xochiti Gomez, Rachel McAdams Sorcerer Wong and many other stars.
The movie begins when Dr. Strange’s counterpart is killed by demons in another multiverse when he attempted to take America Chavez( Xochiti Gomez) powers. Strange considers it all to be a nightmare and he gets up to prepare for his former lover’s wedding- Christine Palmer(Rachel McAdams).
During the celebrations however, a mysterious creature from another multiverse begins to terrorize the streets of New York. What follows next will leave you half seated!
The budget for the film was estimated at $200m and the current box office is at $27.2m. The movie was directed by Sam Raimi and its release date is the 6th of May,2022 which is today.
