Afrobeats Star Continues Tradition of Giving with Lavish Gift to Close Associate

Grammy-nominated Afrobeats superstar, Davido, has once again demonstrated his generosity by gifting his personal driver, Tunde Yussuf, a brand-new Lexus SUV. The luxurious vehicle was a token of appreciation for Yussuf, who also serves as the singer’s tour assistant.

Yussuf took to Instagram to share his excitement and gratitude, posting a picture of the newly acquired SUV. “Congratulations to me 🙏🙏🙏🙏 God bless you 001 my boss @davido. You no go ever fall my oga. OBO DAN DO AM AGAIN,” he wrote, thanking his boss while offering prayers for him. The post, which quickly attracted over 4,000 likes, including one from Davido himself, was filled with congratulatory messages from well-wishers.

This latest gesture is yet another example of Davido’s well-known generosity towards his close associates. In the past, the singer has been recognized for rewarding loyalty and hard work within his team. In a similar act, he presented his aide, Afeare Isreal, with a Toyota Venza for his dedication. Additionally, in 2017, he gifted his assistant, Lateef Biola, a truck to support his oil and gas business as a birthday present.

Beyond his inner circle, Davido’s philanthropy has touched the lives of many others. In 2021, he raised N250 million for orphanage homes across Nigeria in celebration of his birthday. He further donated N237 million to orphanages in July of last year and N300 million in February.
