Renowned Dancehall artist Cynthia Morgan has publicly criticized her peer, Odumodublvck, for his assertion that his success was not facilitated by anyone else’s efforts.
The Nigerian music scene recently buzzed with controversy following legendary musician Eedris Abdulkareem’s claim of laying the groundwork for the success of prominent Nigerian singers such as Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy.
This statement has divided opinions among Nigerian musicians, with some dismissing the notion altogether. Among the dissenters, Odumodublvck has voiced that no one has paved the way for others, a stance that Cynthia Morgan has taken issue with.
Morgan accused Odumodublvck of being contradictory, pointing out that although he acknowledged being inspired by someone, he refused to acknowledge that this inspiration constituted paving the way for his career.
