Oh! like we never expected this! It was reported earlier that Davido threw some shades at Starboy Wizkid over his proposed Sounds From The Other Side EP but we never knew Wizzy would catch the sub. Dude must be pained!
Wizkid took to twitter few hours after Davido subbed him with his SnapChat updates. In his series of tweets, he somewhat expressed anger, referring to Davido as a kid
You can’t hate someone doing better than you in what you failed at! Learn and appreciate, free your mind from hate young kids, Wizkid tweeted.
We need no soothsayer to tell us who that was meant for, following the drama initiated by Davido earlier.
The Starboy Entertainment crooner went further saying, the game is only for the real, catch up or stay local. Don’t blame anybody for your failures. Pray and work hard kids.
This is obviously in reference to Davido’s fallout with Sony Music. This singer had lashed out on foreign deals saying they aren’t worth it as they try to put you in the cage.
Wizkid ends it on a sarcastic note, and remember kids, drink more water
The two Nigerian musicians have been at loggerheads for years now. There’s hardly a time they don’t cross each other’s path. As a matter of fact, they both ruling and dominating the Nigerian hip-hop scene, so it’s really a tough one for the industry to handle.
Davido’s latest song, Fall is on top of music charts and also trending locally as the number one hit song of the moment. Also, Wizkid’s recent joint with Chris Brown, African Bad Gyal is making huge waves both locally and internationally. Apparently, both are indispensable contemporary acts in the Nigerian music industry and we believe the competition is healthy.
