In the hot sun of Lagos this morning, two of Nigeria’s bigger Music stars decided to add their bit to the ongoing social media Celebrity madness.
Earlier today DMW artist, Mayorkun had taken to Instagram to celebrate 70 million streams on his debut album across all platforms, but Burna Boy was not having any of it.
Burna went on a rant, claiming that streaming numbers did not make one a talented artist, citing that “even baby shark got streams too”.
Many observers saw this as an indirect shot at Mayorkun, and it apparently did not sit well with the “Che Che” crooner, who immediately took to Twitter to respond; “na because of Kanye west you blow” a tweet which he deleted about 5 minutes later.
