Popular Nollywood Actress Mercy Aigbe has blasted her colleague, Yomi Fabiyi over his new movie ‘Oko Iyabo.’
Yomi Fabiyi has been accused of making a movie about Baba Ijesha’s rape case while using the real names of the persons involved in the rape saga. Yomi Fabiyi made the movie look like the minor involved in the rape case was having an affair with Baba Ijesha.
His movie has caused a lot of stir on social media. Netizens have slammed Yomi for producing a movie with a sensitive issue at hand. Actress Mercy Aigbe has also weighed on the issue.
She wrote:
How on earth would you make mockery of someone’s agonizing pain! How????? Only a wicked soul would do that!!!!! Just that particular scene I saw of your movie is insensitive, utterly distasteful and disgusting! @realyomifabiyi
