Recall Black Sherif released the ‘Second Sermon’ as a sequel to ‘First Sermon’ and the song seems to be topping various charts within its first week of release.

The remix features African Giant, Burna Boy has it’s gained over a couple of million views on YouTube.

One line from the song that seems to be common and has become a common term in Ghana now is ‘Kweku Frimpong d3 asem b3 ba’ and fans have been wondering who that ‘Kweku Frimpong’ Black Sherif made mention of is.

However, everyone is puzzled as to who is Kweku Frimpong. It’s not Burna Boy as his real name is Damini Ogulu and Black’s real name, Mohammed Ismail Sherif.

 

Black Sherif speaks about Kweku Frimpong:

The young musician in an exclusive interview this morning on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show hosted by renowned disc jockey and musician Andy Dosty on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM stated that ‘Kweku Frimpong’ is a character he played in the song.

He added he knows fans are asking questions and are willing to about who this ‘Kweku Frimpong’ is, so he will reveal the true identity of ‘Kweku Frimpong’ on his next song.

Blacko in the interview also stated fans should expect more ‘sermon’ songs from him after success from the first two songs until his upcoming Extended Playlist is ready. He said he’s working on his debut EP and until it’s ready, he will be releasing various versions of the sermon songs.
