Nigerian actress, Iyabo Ojo has shed some light on her relationship with the businessman, Paul Okoye.
It will be recalled the actress first gave us a hint about finding love again via her Instagram page. She had announced that an Igbo man had successfully captured her heart.
Shortly after, Toke Makinwa shared a photo with Iyabo Ojo and Paul Okoye, confirming their relationship. Since the duo became Instagram official, they have been dishing out relationship goals.
In a recent Instagram live chat with the couple, media personality, daddy Freeze quizzes whether they plan to have kids.
Speaking, they both revealed that their relationship is for “enjoyment”.
The lovebirds said they are not in a relationship to have kids, because “we already have four grown-up children.”
“Do you know how old I am? My children will start having their kids, not me. I’m 55 years old and Iyabo is 45, you want to kill her,” Paul Okoye said.
“We want to go on holidays we want to travel, our relationship is to enjoy our lives and travel across the world. Our children will start having kids. My daughter is 26.
“If I have a baby now, I’ll take the baby to school, they will kill me oh, look at my white beards everywhere. If you have a baby I will run, I will change my name, and you won’t know me again.”
In the same vein, Iyabo concurred that their relationship is solely for “enjoyment and traveling across the globe.”
“The last time I had a baby was almost 22 years ago, Priscilla will be 22 next month,” she said.
“I have a list of places that I want to go and a list of places he wants to go too. We just both want to travel around the world and enjoy ourselves. Work, have fun, and enjoy.
“And just wait for our children to bring their spouses and we do the wedding for them. They get married and then the grandchildren can come, definitely, we’ll look after them together.”
On the occasion of her 45th birthday, Iyabo unveiled the entertainment promoter as her lover.
The film star first got married to Ademidun in 1999. The union, however, crashed in 2001.
She has two children — Priscilla and Festus — from a previous relationship.
Okoye also has two children, Oyinye and Paolo.
Information about his previous relationship, however, remains unknown to the media.
