The West African Examination Council, WAEC has released the May/June 2017 Secondary School Certificate Examination results.
The council said on its Twitter account on Monday that the results of 94.36 per cent of the 1,471,151 candidates that sat for the examination were released.
Of that number, 923,486 candidates, representing 59.22 per cent, obtained a minimum number of credits in five subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics.
The examination started on February 20 and ended on May 15.
The results have been updated today via the WAEC official website.
Steps to check your WAEC Result 2017:
STEP 1. Logon to www.waecdirect.org
STEP 2. Fill in your Examination Number with the correct numbers
STEP 3. Select your Exam Year which is 2017
STEP 4. Select your examination type, School candidate result or private candidate result, either of the two and proceed
Step 5. Insert your Card Serial Number which will start with “WRN” for every 2017 Waec candidate
STEP 6. Fill in your Pin with the correct number and click on submit
NOTE: All the information needed to access your result has been printed on the WAEC card given to you.
No need to buy a scratch card.

Waec 2018 results has been released by Waec, I went to the Internet to
check out the result, the result truly was released, but there was serious
problem,my chemistry D7,English was E8, I called some of my friends who
their results has also been released and they complain about the same
thing, what am I going to do now because i need my result now for my post
utme. I decided to browse the Internet to see if there is any link, then I
came across a comment about Mr james how he has helped many people release
and upgrade their waec result, I picked the number and I called him I told
him all the problems,I sent him my exam details, I did all what he asked me
to do, he told me to give him some time to work on it, surprisingly he
called me yesterday and told me to recheck the result which I did, to my
