Victor Osimhen was on fire on Friday, scoring three times inside eight minutes and bagging an assist as he took to the field for the first time as a Napoli player in a preseason friendly.
I Partenopei have been holding their preseason camp at the Castel Di Sangria ahead of the new Serie A season and are participating in a three-team tournament as they rack up their fitness levels.

The 21-year-old Napoli record signing, playing with his new teammates for the first time, scored his side’s opener against fourth-division L’Aquila in the second minute, added a second a minute later before completing his hat-trick in the 8th-minute as he made an explosive start to his Napoli career.
Although it was only a preseason game against fourth-division fodder, Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso would have been very pleased with his record signing as his side ran out 11-0 winners in the 49-minute tune-up.
It marks an encouraging start to Osimhen’s Napoli career and would go some way in filling him with confidence as he shoulders the expectations that come with being the club’s record buy.
Osimhen then turned provider setting up Hirving Lozano for Napoli’s eighth goal.
On the evidence of Friday’s showing, Osimhen appears not only to have eased into life at Napoli, but also filled with a burning fire to repay the club’s trust and score the goals takes them back to the Champions League after a seventh-place finish in Serie A last season.
