UK Police Investigate Khafi Over Sexual Activities in BBNaija House

Big Brother 2019 contestant, Khafi Kareem, is currently facing investigation over her repeated romps with Ekpata Gedoni.

With events coming to light about her being told by her bosses at the Met Police in the UK not to take part in the reality show, Khafi is obviously walking on thin ice.

The 29-year old had been granted unpaid leave and requested to go on the Big Brother show but was refused. Khafi defied her bosses anyway and went on to participate in the show, billing herself as a talented dancer and singer.

Khafi joined the force as a Police Constable (PC) in 2015 after working as a part-time special constable for four years.

A colleague of hers said that as a serving British police officer, it was outrageous of her to be a part of the show.

“She’s a serving British police officer-it’s outrageous. She asked permission to go on the show, but when her request was refused, she went anyway.

Her out-of-office email reply blatantly says that she is away from work, yet no one does anything.

Other officers working with her are furious that she can just disobey orders then swan off to Africa and tarnish the reputation of the force”.

A spokesman for the Met Police added:

“The Met is aware that the officer has since appeared on the show without authority. The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed and will be carrying out an investigation into the circumstances.

The Met does not support the officer’s appearance nor does she represent The Met whilst appearing on the show.

All officers have a duty to behave with professionalism and in a manner that does not bring The Met into disrepute whether on or off duty.

Those who do not behave professionally risk breaching police standards of professional behavior, and may be dealt with by way of misconduct proceedings”  

Khafi, who is fluent in Yoruba, Italian and French, has been having sexual relations with a businessman, Ekpata Gedoni, and some fans have expressed their fears about her leaving the show pregnant.

Khafi once stood alongside Met Commissioner Cressida Dick to promote female and black recruitment.
