Veteran Hollywood actor Tom Hanks will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes soon.
The news was confirmed on September 24, 2019, by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, where it said Hanks would receive a Cecil B. DeMille Award at the ceremony.

Hanks voiced the toy Woody in the Toy Story film series. He is one of the most popular and recognizable film stars in the world and is widely regarded as an American cultural icon.
