Following a grueling campaign and election season, President-elect Asíwájú Bola Tinubu has left for a well-deserved break abroad to prepare for his inauguration on May 29, 2023. According to a statement issued by his media aide, Tunde Rahman, to newsmen in Abuja, the President-elect departed from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Ikeja for Europe on Tuesday night.
