Korg, the stone character from Thor: Ragnarok, has been confirmed to be a part of the upcoming sequel from Marvel titled Thor: Love and Thunder.
The character was voiced by the movie’s director, Taika Waititi, and went on to become a fan favorite (which is hardly surprising considering his humourous nature).
Thor: Love and Thunder is shaping up to be a unique experience and may even be better than its predecessor as Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) will get a new character arc; she will wield Thor’s magical hammer, Mjolnir, becoming a super-powered being and that will be the movie’s biggest selling point.
As it is, we don’t know yet if Chris Hemsworth’s Thor will still be the fat superhero we last saw in Avengers: Endgame. It was a new different side of him and it was a welcome change but seeing a repeat of the same may not be something that fans would be enthusiastic about.
Production on Thor: Love and Thunder hasn’t started but more specifics should be revealed soon.
