Fox’s latest trailer for The King’s Man gives us an in-depth look at the origin of the Kingsmen.

The King’s Man is an upcoming movie directed by Matthew Vaughn, and it is a prequel to the Kingsman film series.

Audiences will remember that Taron Egerton played the role of the protagonist who became a part of the mysterious spy organization in Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015), and Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017).

What made the Kingsman films stand out was the finesse associated with the gentlemen in suit and the slick, bone-crushing, matrix-like action, not to mention a terrific performance by Colin Firth as one of the leaders of the Kingsmen. Now, fans will be introduced to how the spy organization started in The King’s Man.

The trailer shows the Duke of Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) enlists and trains his young protégé (Harris Dickinson), shaping his combat skills into that of a future Kingsman. Actress Gemma Arterton also comes along for the ride, playing Polly, a fellow spy.

Judging by the clip, the movie should be entertaining at least, with director Vaughn’s well-choreographed action sequences, well-timed humor, and intriguing plot.

The game of espionage never gets old and this is the movie’s selling point. Let’s hope it conquers the box office when it comes out on February 14, 2020.
