Thanks to Taylor Swift’s generosity, Vitoria Mario, an aspiring mathematician at Warwick University, can now study to actualize her dreams.
Vitoria who was unable to afford her university fees has thanked the singer after she donated £23,000 towards her university education.
A Portuguese by birth, Vitoria has resided in the UK for years and revealed that she was ineligible to receive government funding and her family could not afford to finance her degree at Warwick University.
Taylor Swift, who made the donation via a GoFundMe page, wrote:
Vitoria, I came across your story online and am so inspired by your drive and dedication to turning your dreams into reality.
I want to gift you the rest of your goal amount. Good luck with everything you do! Love, Taylor.”

Vitoria, a resident of Tottenham, North London, said Taylor’s donation had “actually made my dream come true.”
Speaking with PA, the undergraduate student stated:
“I feel like at some points I was worrying too much about the money, what I have to do, if I have to look for a job, and now I can just do more maths, prepare myself for uni, so I can just be really prepared when it comes.”
The 18-year-old added that her father is late and that her mother lives in Portugal.
