Glenn Close will not be attending the Oscars this year after contracting COVID-19, despite being scheduled as one of the presenters. Close’s representative confirmed that she is currently resting and isolating and is disappointed about missing the ceremony. Her absence will also mean that she will not be able to reunite with her “Air Force One” co-star, Harrison Ford, during the awards ceremony. Nonetheless, the event will still feature an impressive lineup of presenters, including Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Chastain, Hugh Grant, Sigourney Weaver, and many others. We wish Close a speedy recovery.
