On July 20, 1969, Commander Neil Armstrong led the spaceflight that first landed humans on the moon. It was nothing short of an astronomical achievement that heralded the beginning of the continued probe into the vast reaches of outer space.
Today, we mark man’s first trip to the moon, bearing in mind how those brave souls risked it all to show the rest of humanity that nothing is impossible once we set our minds to it.
In commemoration of that feat years ago, TalkGlitz.tv has made a list of movies that touch on the subject of humans embarking on a lunar mission. They are a must-see for those who wish to get an insight into what it takes to make such an epic journey and the process involved.
