Sowore: Court Modifies The Activist’s Bail Conditions

#RevolutionNow Convener Omoyele Sowore’s bail conditions have been modified by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu in a Federal High Court in Abuja today.

Sahara Reporters reported that the Judge who varied the conditions of bail of Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare, stated that she found it hard to believe that a man of Sowore’s status didn’t have anyone to make a deposit of N50 million on his behalf.

A bail of N100 million had been granted to Sowore with two sureties resident in Abuja, possessing landed properties in the state.

Subsequently, the court reduced Sowore’s bail form the N100 million to N50 million, while Bakare’s N50 million bail was brought down to N20 million.
