Four South African policemen have been arrested for killing a Nigerian businessman.
The Officers are to face trial for the murder of the man named Pius Abiaziem.
It was reported that Abiaziem died while being interrogated by the team of policemen at his residence in Eastern Cape on August 23, 2019.
Speaking on the issue, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), through its spokesperson, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, announced that the arrested four will be on trial and urged the South African authorities to ensure that the trial came speedily.
Following the murder of a Nigerian, Pius Abiaziem in South Africa on 23, Aug 2019, the country's authorities have noted that four members of the South African police service have been arrested and would be charged to court immediately.

Nigerians are among those who have fallen victims to the xenophobic attacks in South Africa for years, with some of them killed in the process.
