Some notable Nigerian entertainers have been accused of receiving bribe from President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the 2019 elections. Buhari on Wednesday hosted these selected young entertainers during the breaking of Ramadan fast at the State House in Abuja. The selected youths include artistes, Small Doctor, Sound Sultan and Big Brother Naija alumnus, Tobi Bakre.

However, tongues have been wagging since some unconfirmed filtered through the internet that Buhari gifted these artists a sum of N2million each as ‘thanks for coming’ money. This has caused a stir amongst Nigerians on social media who have termed the President’s act as another political scheme to boost his chance of winning the forthcoming 2019 election.
