Matthew Knowles, father of world-renowned singer Beyonce, has opened up about his ongoing battle with brea$t cancer.
The 67-year old made this known in an exclusive interview on the Good Morning America show on Wednesday, September 2, 2019, where he said it all started when he noticed reoccurring bloodstains on his shirts.
You know, I saw a dot of blood on the sheets, so I immediately went to my doctor. I got a mammogram and then it was very clear that I had brea$t cancer.

The genetic testing which had confirmed that Knowles has the mutated BRCA2 gene puts him at risk of having prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, and melanoma.
He revealed that his family has been by his side all along and that they had been the first people he had called following the diagnosis.
