Portable Criticizes Labour Party’s Peter Obi for Not Offering Financial Support
Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, recently crossed paths with the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, at the Benin City Airport, Edo State. In a viral video circulating on social media on Sunday, the pair can be seen exchanging pleasantries briefly at the airport.
Following the encounter with the former Governor of Anambra State, Portable shared his thoughts in a video, expressing dissatisfaction that Obi did not offer him anything during their meeting.
The controversial artist went on to compare the situation to what he expected would have happened had he met President Bola Tinubu instead.
“Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu, we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go,” Portable remarked.
