Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simi, has reached out to her fans to request patience as she prepares to release her next album.
The popular musician explained that she had three plans in place for her upcoming album, but unforeseen circumstances in life caused them to fail.
Simi also admitted that she did not want to release substandard music as she often ends up disliking or regretting it when she feels under time pressure to produce music.
In her statement to her supporters, she reassured them that her album this year would be the one they needed, and they should be patient with her.
“Army asking me when I’m dropping new new. I feel like I’m letting y’all down ???? I had a plan. Actually like 3 plans – but life will life and you roll with the punches. And I don’t want to give you rubbish stuff,” she wrote in a social media post.
“Just know My album this year will be the album you need from me. Every time I’ve dropped a song because of ‘time’ – I’ve ended up not liking the song or regretting it lol. I’m not doing that anymore. Be patient with me.”
“I think I’m just going to drop an album instead of singles actually. Maybe one single just right before.” She wrote.
