Robert Downey Jr., who played Tony Stark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), will make an appearance in Marvel’s upcoming movie Black Widow.

Robert Downey Jr. won the Saturn Award for Best Actor in a Film for his role as Iron/Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame (the blockbuster received six Saturn Awards).

Downey introduced the MCU to audiences worldwide in the first movie in the franchise, Iron Man, winning everyone over as the billionaire playboy who co-founded the team of earth’s mightiest heroes, ultimately giving his life in the course of the world’s defense in Avengers: Endgame.

Black Widow (which stars Scarlett Johansson) will be released next year and the events are set after Captain America: Civil War.
