American rapper, Bashar Barakah Jackson is known as ‘Pop Smoke ‘was reportedly murdered in his Hollywood Hills home yesterday.
According to TMZ, the rapper was shot dead by two men in his home in an event that appeared to be a home robbery.
It was gathered that Pop Smoke died during the early hours of Wednesday, about 4: 30a.m. when the robbers had fired multiple shots into his home, hitting and critically wounding Pop Smoke around 4:30 am.
He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead – he was just 20 years old.
At this time, it is unclear if Pop Smoke had prior knowledge of the assailants.
Just two weeks ago, he released his sophomore album, Meet The Woo 2.
