Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have purchased a home in Santa Barbara, California.
The news was disclosed by a representative of the couple who spoke to CNN, adding that they had moved into the home last month.
The spokesperson said in a statement:
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their family home in July of this year. They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected for their neighbors, as well as for them as a family.”
Prince Harry and Meghan are now neighbors with Oprah Winfrey, who lives nearby.
The development comes months after they shocked the world in January when they announced that they were stepping down from royal duties.
They have both kept a low profile since relocating to Meghan’s hometown of Los Angeles and were seen delivering meals to residents in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
