In a condolence message issued by his spokesperson, Mr. Femi Adesina, on Tuesday in Abuja, President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his condolences to former Senate President Ken Nnamani and his family on the passing of Mrs. Jane Nnamani. The President shared in their grief and prayed that the Almighty God would grant them strength during this difficult time.
President Buhari acknowledged the positive impact that the late Mrs. Nnamani had on the Amaechi Awknawnaw community, where she was a source of hope and support for many. He believed that her good works would be remembered by her friends and associates.
At this very difficult time of pain and deep reflection, the President urged the Nnamani family to look unto the Lord, knowing that help comes only from Him. He prayed that God would comfort the family and grant a peaceful rest for the departed.
In other news, opposition parties have set up an 11-member team to scout for potential candidates for the position of 10th Speaker. The team is tasked with identifying competent and capable individuals who can serve in the position and contribute positively to the development of the country.
