President Muhammadu Buhari observed this year’s Eid-el-Fitr with his family members at The Presidential Villa on Sunday.
The president usually travels to Daura, his hometown in Katsina, during the Eid celebrations, but the president stayed backed in Abuja as a result of the coronavirus pandemic which changed the situation of things globally.
Only some aides of the president and his family members joined him when prayers were said within the presidential villa.
During prayers, Aisha Buhari and her children observed social distancing and some of them wore face masks in line with the safety protocols of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
