Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) to take responsibility for the challenges resulting from the implementation of its policies, including the recent redesign of the naira which has caused hardship for Nigerians.
In a statement released on behalf of his family and campaign in Abuja, Atiku expressed condolences to the families who lost loved ones due to the recent upheavals in different parts of the country.
Atiku accused the ruling party of being responsible for the current crisis and the country’s myriad of problems, including job losses, hunger, poverty, fuel scarcity, deteriorating security, and the depreciation of the Naira.
He called on the APC to take responsibility for its policies and the challenges they have caused and for Nigerians to focus their energy on voting out the APC in the upcoming elections. Atiku assured the public that together, they will enthrone the Nigeria of their dreams. He also urged them not to let their frustrations lead to violence.
