American mega-celebrity Paris Hilton recently shared her experience of visiting the White House as a part of her anti-child abuse campaign in the US.  Paris Hilton has been attracting a lot of media attention regarding the anti-child abuse campaign she has started.

The 41-year-old made the two-day trip to DC to speak up for the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act. ”So honoured to be back in DC to continue my advocacy work” she tweeted. ”I had such an inspiring time meeting with policy staff and walking the halls of the West Wing with advocates,” she added.

She also expressed her happiness at witnessing the American government do its best in fighting for these rights. ”I am so glad to see that the most powerful office in the world is dedicated to fighting for the rights of all.” she ended. Hilton took the campaign tour personally as she has been abused by a ”troubled-teen” when she was sixteen years old.

Paris Hilton is a famous American TV personality, DJ, actress, author, and socialite who hails from a very influential family. Her great-grandfather is the famous Conrad Hilton who is most popular for being the founder of Hilton Hotels worldwide. Paris Hilton was born in February 1981 in New York and later moved to LA with her family as a child.

She has always been the cynosure for cameras at a young age, coming from a notoriously wealthy family that is globally influential. In 1999, she became a fixture in NYC’s late-night scene. In her late teens, she signed up for Donald Trump’s modeling agency called Trump Model Management. The news of Conrad Hilton’s great-granddaughter on her way to stardom became quite appealing to the media.

In 2003, a sex tape that was created in 2001 by Paris and her then-boyfriend Rick Salomon was leaked. The sex tape was later released and called ”1 Night In Paris” and this shot Hilton into the limelight on the global scene.  Unfazed by this, the 22-year-old Hilton soon began a five-year reality TV show with her childhood friend Nicole Richie. The show was called ”The Simple Life” and began showing on Fox. It would go on to get 13m views in the course of five years that it showed on TV.

In 2004, Paris Hilton launched her book titled ”Confessions of an Heiress” and it soon became a New York Times BestSeller, with the book paving way for her to be on the 2005 horror movie titled ”House of Wax” and her upward rise to stardom was well underway.

In 2006 and 2008, Forbes tagged Paris Hilton as the most over-exposed celebrity in the world, and in 2007, Guinness proclaimed Paris Hilton as the Most Overrated Celebrity in the world. Paris Hilton has also been a DJ and has DJ’ed at SummerFest and Tomorrowland. Her documentary ”Paris, Not France” got a 5.2/10 rating on IMDb. The American Meme was released in 2018 and her podcast: ”This is Paris” is currently on iHeartRadio.
