Agents of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) has been caught on video distributing money to voters. This occurred at the polling unit of the APC governorship candidate, Iragbiji, Boripe local government.
The APC agent, however, says that the money given to the electorates is not meant to buy their votes but to “find something to eat”. In his own words, he said “We are not giving you this money to buy your votes, but to at least find something to eat”

Various cases of vote buying have been recorded in different polling units in the state. Some voters claimed to be given a sum of two thousand naira to vote for the governorship candidate of the APC, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola.
Also, in a confirmed report by the Nigeria Police, two agents have been arrested with a sum of N604,000 (six hundred and four thousand naira) meant to be distributed to the electorates.
