Okorocha, A Disgrace To Igbo Nation - Igbo Youths

The Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has been said to be a disgrace to the Igbo nation, by the Igbo Youths under the auspices of Igbo Youths Initiative.

Acknowledging to his recent utterances, Prince Alexander Ezeobi, the president of the association, said the governor is everyday lending credence to the rumour that he is a scion of the north.

This is why instead of promoting Igbo interest, he is busy undermining and castigating them” Alexander said.

According to him, the IMO people who made the mistake of voting for him in the last two general elections have clearly seen that it was a bastard and a vagabond that they voted into power.

However, he said he is happy that the chicken has finally come to roost and they have realized their mistake Ezeobi said Imo state remains one of the most backward states in the country but rather than using the allocation that is accusing to the state for development, he is busy building schools, estates and hospitals in the northern parts of the country.

To be honest with you I am not shocked by the recent anti-Igbo comments by Okorocha. We in the Igbo youths Initiative know his antecedents and we tried to warn the people of Imo State of the danger of making him their governor but they felt that we were been sponsored.

This is a man that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo sacked for corruption when as a chairman of a board he was given money to buy brand new sports utility vehicles he went and bought fairly used ones. This is a man that is ready to sell his own mother for political position.

Today, some of the communities in Idea to where he claims he comes from have not seen electricity in the last 20 years. Most of the communities there don’t have schools, hospitals and good roads and yet he is building schools and hospitals in the northern parts of the country.

It has been rumoured that his real father was from Jos and every day he is showing that this is not a rumour but a reality.
