Wave-making Nigerian-born Ghanaian-bred musician, Mr Eazi has cleared the air on his relationship with WizKid’s label, Starboy Worldwide Entertainment. The Skin Tight crooner in a recent radio interview was posed with the question ‘You’re with WizKid officially?‘ and he simply responded, ‘The thing is, I’m unsigned, I never even signed myself‘
Recall at the Ghana Music Awards in 2016, WizKid stepped on stage to announce Mr. Eazi as the newest artist joining the Starboy Worldwide.
Explaining further, Mr. Eazi said they’re all partners with Starboy Entertainment including, R2bees, Efya and himself with the sole aim of promoting African music to the world. So, setting it straight, Mr. Eazi made it clear there isn’t any signing under WizKid.
Mr. Eazi also went ahead to express how much the Starboy Worldwide movement had impacted his music career within a year of their partnership. He’s seen to have dominated the whole of Africa with his music and recently got American singer, Rita Ora on this remix of his Skin Tight. He attested to the fact that he’s benefited the most so far from the Starboy partnership.
