Nyekachi Douglas, a contestant representing Rivers State in the Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria (MBGN) 2019 has been crowned in the 32nd edition which held in Yenogoa, Bayelsa State yesterday.
The MBGN pageant is a yearly event organized by Silverbird and the 21-year-old Rivers State indigene was chosen by the judges as this year’s winner at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Center.
“I couldn’t believe it. I want to thank everyone specially for supporting me up to this point. I love you guys”, she said, surprised by the win.
Agbani Darego was the first girl from Rivers State to win the crown and Nyekachi joins her as the second girl from the same region to clinch the prestigious title.
