More Drama In Court As Johnny Depp Reveals What He Did To Stop Amber Heard From Doing Nud£ Scenes
Johnny Depp has denied being violent towards Amber Heard

The second day in court for former Hollywood couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard proved to be a new episode of more revelations.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is suing News Group Newspapers for calling him a “wife-beater” as he denies ever been violent towards Amber.

In the libel trial which took place on Monday, July 13, 2020, The Guardian reports that when Johnny was asked if he was jealous of Amber doing sex scenes in films and if he ever attempted to stop her.

Johnny replied that he was “uncomfortable with the idea of her doing nudity”, but also stated that he encouraged her not to take on roles involving her taking off her clothes because he thought it would help her to be taken more seriously as an actress.

Johnny told the court:

Ms. Heard was uncomfortable being thought of as a sex object, and she was hoping to do better films with more meat to the part, if you will, and did not want to be objectified and did not want to have to do nude scenes any more.”

Amber’s attorneys claimed that Johnny tried to control her life, including what she wore. Responding to this, Johnny said:

Well, I would never tell her what to wear, but I would certainly make mention if I thought what she was wearing was completely against the grain of what she told me her wishes were because I did not find it very helpful to what she was looking for in terms of being taken seriously as an actress. I told her she did not have to be naked in films.”

The actor was also asked about when he found out that Amber might work with James Franco (someone she was in a relationship with) and he said:

I was uncomfortable with that, yes, because it was quite inconsistent with the feelings that she had told me of.”

When questioned about interfering with Amber’s career, Johnny quipped:

She was upset that she was being objectified and she wanted to do deeper material, more profound, something where she could show her abilities as an actress. She was telling me how she did not want to be looked at as the pretty girl or did not want to have to get her brea$ts out or be nude in a film anymore. And I said, ‘You do not have to.’ She wanted my advice, and I gave her my advice. Unfortunately, or fortunately, she continued to do the same type of films, and I thought to myself that she was above them.”

Johnny further disclosed that Amber punched him when she learned that he had last a huge amount of money.

A graduate of Theatre Arts who is also a scriptwriter, editor, director, and movie critic.
