Mohbad, a Nigerian rapper signed to Marlian Music has made a cry out to his fans and followers that the record label and the boss himself, Naira Marley are after his life.
This accusation is coming after a drug bust at the label’s residence in Lagos by men of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA which led to the arrest of five.
Mohbad had gone live on Instagram sharing a video of him in distress accusing the label and the boss of hunting him.
“I didn’t know these people have been hating on me; they have been doing bad bad things on me. Because of this issue; everybody in the whole world please help me, if I die like this, it is Marlian Music and Naira Marley that killed me…” he said in part while being confronted by some guys in the background.
As at the time of filing this post, TalkGlitz understands that only Mohbad has been released. Zinoleesky, Shubomi, Micee and Dosky are still in the custody of the NDLEA.
According to the label boss, Naira Marley, Mohbad was physically assaulted before his release. It appears he is not in town and he’s promised to return to Lagos as soon as he can.
Regarding Mohbad’s accusation of threats from the label, Naira Marley didn’t pass any remark on that.
He wrote:
“NDLEA have released Mohbad after physically assaulting him, Zinoleesky is still in custody. The boys are under a lot of stress after being ambushed in the middle of the night with no warrant. I’m urgently returning to Lagos now now now”
Checks by TalkGlitz revealed that Mohbad has been billed for show performances in Dubai which should kick off today, February 25, 2022.
However, there have been speculations that the rapper snitched on his friends to get a quick release. TalkGlitz cannot confirm this report as Naira Marley is still rooting for everyone’s safety.
