Jada Pinkett-Smith is in talks to reprise the role of the character Niobe in the upcoming fourth Matrix movie.
Jada is the wife of actor Will Smith and her role in the second and third Matrix films was both eye-catching and instrumental in the fight against the machines, with her unrivaled skill as a hovercraft driver proving to be one of the movies’ most defining moments.
Deadline reported that the dark-skinned actress in currently negotiating to return, stressing that it is not a done deal yet. Audiences will want to see the petite star return as her character’s feisty nature brought more appeal to the movies.
Jada Pinkett-Smith was born on September 18, 1971 and is an American actress, comedian, singer-songwriter, screenwriter and businesswoman.
She started her acting career in 1990, making her feature film debut in Menace II Society (1993). Her breakthrough role came opposite Eddie Murphy in The Nutty Professor (1996). She has since being a part of over 20 major movies.
With her husband Will Smith, she owns a production company and the couple has two children, son Jaden and daughter Willow.
