American singer Mariah Carey has announced that she will be releasing an upcoming compilation album titled The Rarities.
She made the disclosure on Twitter on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, revealing that it would be out on October 2, 2020.
Her tweet reads, “This one is for you, my fans. It’s to celebrate us and to thank you for years of pure joy and support. I am so grateful to you. THE RARITIES album is out October 2.”
Given that Mariah Carey is one of the most talented singers on the planet, it can only be assumed that her album will be highly anticipated by fans.
The Rarities will feature some of her unreleased musical works, including demos. The first single from the album features Lauryn Hill and will be released this Friday, August 21, 2020.

Additionally, Mariah Carey’s upcoming memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey will be released on September 29, 2020, a few days before the forthcoming album arrives.
